WordPress 6.3<\/a> was released in early August, introducing recent improvements to make website creation much more enjoyable. But have you ever ever wondered what\u2019s running behind the scenes each time WordPress releases a new edition?<\/p>\n

To reply your curiosity, we\u2019ve sat down with three WordPress 6.3 release co-leads \u2013 Ahmed Kabir Chaion<\/a>, Leonardus Nugraha<\/a>, and Pooja Derashri<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We discussed how they began as a release co-lead, what they worked on for this release, the challenges, and the fun experiences that they had. Let\u2019s dive into the conversation!<\/p>\n

How It Began<\/h2>\n

For Leonardus Nugraha \u2013 Leo, for brief \u2013 this was his first time joining a WordPress release squad.<\/p>\n

Leo\u2019s been energetic as a WordPress contributor for Documentation<\/a>, Polyglots<\/a>, and Community<\/a>. When the WordPress 6.3 Call for Volunteers<\/a> was announced, he decided to use for Documentation because that\u2019s where he\u2019s most energetic.<\/p>\n

\u201cI currently work as a content specialist. Nevertheless, I began at Hostinger as a content author for WordPress tutorials<\/a>, so contributing to Documentation just feels natural. It suits my interest and skill set,\u201d Leo explains.<\/p>\n
