There\u2019s A LOT occurring here at Liquid Web and our Family of Brands. I\u2019m excited to share just a couple of updates with our community of employees, partners, customers, and investors. Last month, I stepped right into a latest position, and I now have the pleasure and honor of heading up our Liquid Web Family of Brands, which incorporates our Liquid Web, Nexcess, StellarWP brands, and our Modern Tribe agency teams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In my prior role as EVP and Chief Operating Officer for Liquid Web<\/a> and Nexcess<\/a>, I led our Managed Hosting, Managed Applications, and Cloud Development & Platform teams. And now, I welcome our StellarWP<\/a> brands and Modern Tribe<\/a> into my purview as we more closely align these great brands inside our set of products that represent what we call our \u201cCommerce Cloud\u201d Business.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We discuss with our grouping of world-class brands as \u201cCommerce Cloud\u201d because our business is targeted on providing the most effective cloud-based hosting, application, and software products to small and midsize businesses that make cash online. We\u2019re captivated with serving these corporations whose online business is their business<\/em> \u2014 and the creators constructing online sites and stores.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In other very exciting news, late last yr, our prior investors Madison Dearborn Partners, in a really normal investment cycle, sold their investment to One Equity Partners. We couldn’t be more excited to have One Equity Partners (OEP), a worldwide private equity firm with ~$10 billion in assets inside the economic, healthcare, and technology sectors in North America and Europe investing in us. They’ve significant experience investing in technology, and we’re thrilled so as to add their leadership and expertise to our team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Oftentimes, these changes could be met with skepticism and concern that the corporate will change in ways in which don\u2019t profit the communities they serve \u2014 and sometimes, that skepticism is warranted. Not here. As a management team, we had input into who our next partner could be \u2014 and I’m quite energized and excited concerning the next phase of Liquid Web\u2019s opportunities, particularly because OEP will probably be investing in our hosting, applications, and software product lines to expand our presence out there. They’re desirous about our growth, not only squeezing money out of a very great asset. It\u2019s why I\u2019m here, why I\u2019m excited, and why we\u2019re working hard to place together latest and exciting product roadmaps across our portfolio with an emphasis on higher hosting options, tooling, and capabilities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

With the enthusiastic backing of OEP, you will notice our brands proceed to grow globally. You’ll be able to be assured that our customer strategy for our Liquid Web family of brands (Liquid Web, Nexcess, StellarWP) is more focused than ever \u2014 empowering our small businesses and their creators to make cash online.\u00a0 <\/em>We\u2019ll do that by expanding our product lines into latest hosting areas and capabilities, adding performance, security, and reliability features into our existing product lines, and improving the usability of all our products \u2014 from hosting to applications to software.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You might have seen that we proceed to expand our VMware offering, recently announcing the expansion of our VCDA capabilities into our Phoenix data center<\/a> and refreshing our VPS product line. We\u2019ve also just launched two products built to deliver security and peace of mind for our customers. For our Managed Applications customers, the Performance Shield add-on powered by Cloudflare<\/a> provides best-in-class CDN, DDoS, and WAF protection with many additional features available for personalisation of your needs. And for WordPress customers experiencing problems with malware infections, we\u2019ve launched our Malware Remediation Program, which may take the pain out of getting your site up and running again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hosting for our solutions stays a cornerstone of our worth proposition, and now we have work lined as much as expand and extend our offerings in exciting ways. Refreshed Dedicated Server offerings, feature-rich VPS products, and extension of our VMware IaaS and PaaS solutions are core to how we offer rock-solid hosting for our customers. We’re also within the strategy of adding quite a few security and add-on capabilities to our product sets, in addition to integrations to some leading platform technologies that our customers depend on more day by day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For those of you in our tremendous WordPress community, because it pertains to our StellarWP Brands, I\u2019ll be taking the reins from Joe Oesterling, who’s moving on to pursue a brand new profession path. Joe\u2019s been my partner and friend for nearly 15 years, and I definitely hope to hold on his passion and focus for engaging in the neighborhood and serving our customers with the most effective services possible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As I write this, I\u2019m reflecting on WordCamp Europe and preparing for WordCamp US<\/a> \u2014 events that at all times energize me by meeting with partners, friends, and, yes, even competitors. I\u2019m at all times impressed with the organizers, the standard of the events, the keynotes, and the sessions. It is tough to explain what it’s wish to be surrounded by 2,000 of your closest WordPress friends \u2014 all professionals committed to this ecosystem that has modified the best way sites and stores are built for thus much of the world. It\u2019s extraordinary to give you the option to attend in-person events of this caliber, which we could have taken without any consideration prior to Covid.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

WordPress and our software solutions remain core to our growth plans. WordPress stays the dominant CMS, and we\u2019ll proceed to look for tactics to draw SMBs and creators to our hosting infrastructure, our premium WordPress plugins, and\/or our simplified SaaS solutions, comparable to LearnDash Cloud. We remain committed to our commerce cloud strategy of constructing it easier to construct on WordPress.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We have now a solid leadership team<\/a> with years of hosting and software experience on the helm of our expansion efforts. And now we have over 1,000 committed team members who help us serve our customers 24\/7\/365.
