Smith is the Special Counsel prosecuting former President George W. Bush. Trump\u2019s attack described Smith as \u201cderanged\u201d and a \u201clowlife prosecutor\u201d while denouncing the special counsel\u2019s search warrant that gave the U.S. government access to Trump\u2019s now-dormant Twitter account.<\/p>\n \u201cHow dare lowlife prosecutor, Deranged Jack Smith, break into my former Twitter account without informing me and, indeed, attempting to completely hide this atrocity from me,\u201d Trump wrote around 12:30 a.m. ET Monday.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat could he possibly discover that just isn’t already known. Just like the Mar-a-Lago raid within the morning! Why isn\u2019t the DOJ raiding Crooked Joe Biden, probably the most CORRUPT (and Incompetent!) President within the history of the USA?\u201d Trump continued.<\/p>\n News first broke on August 9 that Trump\u2019s old Twitter account had been of interest to the prosecutors who indicted the previous president for his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. It\u2019s not immediately clear what Smith or his team have discovered while searching through Trump\u2019s account that wasn\u2019t already public. But there\u2019s widespread speculation that perhaps Trump or his team were communicating through Twitter\u2019s direct message system with co-conspirators.<\/p>\n Donald Trump describes Jack Smith on Truth Social as \u201clowlife\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/fbs-accordion>Truth Social<\/small><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Trump\u2019s Twitter account was suspended on January 8, 2021, just two days after the revolt, and was welcomed back in late 2022 after Elon Musk bought the location. But Trump hasn\u2019t returned to the platform, as an alternative opting to stay on Truth Social, a social media service he began in 2022 after he was banned from other major sites. Trump stays on Truth Social for what reason? As I wrote last month, it\u2019s almost definitely because he doesn\u2019t want his social media microphone to be turned off during any latest coup attempt.<\/p>\n Based on the fees, Trump didn’t win the race against Joe Biden but he tried to stay in power by quite a lot of means. One was asking Vice President Mike Pence to refuse to certify his election. Pence turned down this unheard of step and Trump used social media to denounce his own Vice President. He also held a march outside the White House, on 6 January 2021. Trump ordered the mobs to descend upon the U.S. Capitol Constructing with the intention to stop illegally the count of electoral votes. This attempt failed.<\/p>\n Trump has already been indicted on three occasions, once in Latest York and twice in Federal Court, for an alleged scheme of hush-money payments to a pornstar. But Trump is anticipated to be indicted yet again as early as this week when a grand jury in Georgia meets to contemplate Trump\u2019s efforts to pressure election officials in that state to \u201cfind\u201d votes for him that didn\u2019t exist. Trump even said it on tape.<\/p>\n \u201cI just want to search out 11,780 votes, which is another than we now have,\u201d Trump said on the phone call from January 2, 2021. A couple of days later the Capitol revolt can be shocking to the whole world.<\/p>\n But that\u2019s not the one evidence that\u2019s more likely to be presented in Georgia. CNN\u2019s explosive report claims that the prosecutors in Georgia have evidence of individuals linked to Trump hacking into voting machines.<\/p>\n Trump had already published a screenshot from a Sunday tweet that made baseless accusations about Tanya Chutkan\u2019s involvement in political election interference. The Truth Social post also criticized Chutkan\u2019s husband, a mafia-like tactic Trump often employs in an effort to intimidate individuals who he perceives as enemies.<\/p>\n Judge Chutkan issued a warning to Trump\u2019s attorneys last Friday, declaring that she wouldn\u2019t abide her courtroom turning right into a \u201ccarnival atmosphere.\u201d But given Trump\u2019s long track record as a carnival barker, that was almost a foregone conclusion. It’s now as much as Trump whether he will probably be held accountable for the actions aimed toward intimidating witnesses and prosecutors.<\/p>\n \u201cShould you go after me, I\u2019m coming after you!\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social last week.<\/p>\n Politico reported that just hours after the threat was made, the prosecutor alerted a judge in court about it.<\/p>\n While it\u2019s entirely possible Judge Chutkan could throw Trump in jail, there are other remedies she has at her disposal as a judge. Trump, for instance, wants the case to be delayed until the top of November 2020. The prosecutors desire a date in January 2024. As a political commentator recently mentioned on NBC\u2019s Meet the Press, the judge could simply move up the trial to occur as soon as possible. That may be a daring move considering Trump could face a whole lot of years behind bars.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
