Extra Life: Playing Video Games for a Cause

You already know about running and cycling marathons raising money for charity, but have you ever heard of a 25-hour gaming marathon? That’s right! A charity gaming marathon that lasts 25 hours!

Liquid Web can be streaming its Extra Life Charity event on November fifth to boost money for local children’s hospitals.

Extra Life is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program that empowers the gaming community to make a difference within the lives of local kids.”

All donations go to the Children’s Miracle Network and stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and charitable care.

As Liquid Web is a member of the tech industry and employs many tech-savvy individuals, a lot of these employees are PC, console, board, and tabletop gamers.

Extra Life is a superb option to get the whole group together to socialize, have a good time playing games, and lift money for an amazing cause. This 12 months’s event has their Helpful Humans having fun not only remotely but in person too!

This 12 months can be their seventh 12 months participating within the Extra Life 25-hour marathon. The event is held annually on the Saturday before Daylight Savings Time ends to get in that extra hour of game time, but teams can raise money for his or her chosen children’s hospital all 12 months long. 

The Liquid Web event will happen on November fifth, 2022. Last 12 months, they raised just below $4,000 between the teams, in order that they hope to boost $5,000 this 12 months. They may have teams participating from the USA in Michigan, Texas, Arizona, and Recent York.
