Every little thing Gets Easier and More Abstracted

If you happen to work in technology long enough, one thing holds true greater than the rest. Over time, things get easier and more abstracted for the shopper. Mind you, I’m not saying things are getting easier. Or less complex.

As a substitute, the remark is solely that as time proceeds, more things are hidden from on a regular basis users. What was complex and take months to construct (like an eCommerce store) are today much easier to construct. And since of that, there’s a bigger market of people that can construct those kinds of websites.

As one in all the premiere managed hosting corporations on the earth, we’ve had direct experience with this dynamic. It’s rare today for somebody to make a hosting decision based only on the CPU of a server, and even how much space for storing a server has available. Abstraction has shifted the conversation away from the low-level details and towards more meaningful differentiation.

We’re Focused on Digital Commerce

Once we first launched our Managed WordPress and Managed WooCommerce hosting plans, we made it clear that we were focused on specific kinds of websites for specific kinds of shoppers. There are numerous great hosting corporations on the market. Several that may host a WordPress business site with none hassle in any respect.

But a lot of those hosting corporations invested significantly in caching layers that will allow those business sites on WordPress to run quickly. It was an excellent strategy ten years ago. And it continues to work for sites that might easily be static.

Our focus hasn’t ever been on those static sites. As a substitute, we’ve focused on eCommerce stores, membership sites, and online learning. Sites where customers had a reason to have their stores perform quickly even when people were logged in. Caching couldn’t be the one strategy used for performance.

The opposite thing they’ve in common is that they’re the way in which today’s creators are doing digital commerce. There’s a difference between a business that has a web site, and when the web site is the business.

That’s been our constant focus — to work with and support the creators who’re running their businesses online and the developers and agencies who help construct those sites.

LearnDash is the Leader in Online Learning

There’s nobody in the net learning space that hasn’t already heard of LearnDash. They aren’t only the leader in eLearning, but they’re the strongest WordPress plugin that is thought outside the WordPress community.

And there’s never been a more exciting time for WordPress and online learning. The last 18 months have encouraged everyone to construct their courses online. That push was on top of an already growing industry.

WordPress makes it easy for creators to construct things online. LearnDash makes it even easier to create courses and training online.
