Why did you join Liquid Web?

I used to be excited to affix Liquid Web as a part of the acquisition once they purchased GiveWP.

What draws you to the hosting industry as a profession?

I like that Liquid Web has acquired plugin firms to incorporate a few of the perfect WordPress solutions as a part of the corporation—including the hands-down best WordPress donations plugin, GiveWP!

Is there something specific about Liquid Web you simply love?

As a part of the software arm of Liquid Web, I get to work with among the most creative and hardworking people in WordPress.

What’s your favorite part concerning the company culture at Liquid Web?

My favorite part concerning the Liquid Web company culture is that it’s team-oriented. It’s easy to speak with other employees outside of your team via Slack, Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Twitter.

In your eyes, what’s the difference between Liquid Web and other employers?

Unlike the company world that I used to be a part of up to now, with strict formal dress codes and rules, at Liquid Web, you’ll be able to be yourself and wear your on a regular basis, normal clothes. I feel like this creates a nice atmosphere knowing that your employer values your work greater than whether or not you wear a tie to have a look at spreadsheets.

What’s the most important milestone you’ve completed?

I started working part-time in 2019, not knowing so much about WordPress, and have grown right into a full-time position where I solve problems for purchasers and recuperate countless accounts.

Tell us about an incredible customer experience you will have had at Liquid Web.

At GiveWP, our customer experience could be very necessary to us. One among the mindsets our whole team has adopted is to diminish friction. We attempt to anticipate and solve customers’ issues and desires upon first contact. Taking this approach has led me to many implausible customer experiences and feedback, including this message I received from a customer this September:

Jeff, you might be a rock star! Thanks! That is by far the BEST customer support I even have ever received in my life, and I’m on the older end of being a GenXer! I felt respected and informed, and also you addressed my concerns and anticipated and solved additional questions. Once more, thanks in your amazing customer support!

What are you known for at Liquid Web? What do people specifically come to you for?

At Liquid Web, we specifically give attention to the shopper. Inside GiveWP, I’m known for fixing customers’ licensing and subscription issues, customer account management, and subscription revenue recovery. (I also continuously play pranks on my office mate, Michelle Frechette, who still forgets to examine for tape on her mouse when it isn’t working.)

What’s one thing you want our customers knew about their hosting?

I wish customers knew that Liquid Web can solve many issues through hosting and thru the numerous plugin solutions we provide inside StellarWP.

What’s your nickname at Liquid Web, and why?

I used to be once given a Dundee Award for being the perfect Office Barista! (The trophy is a comedic reference to the tv show, The Office.)

Work aside, what are a few of your hobbies?

I like exploring the world, whether it’s a weekend getaway to the Adirondack Mountains, or an extended trip to Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and beyond.

What’s your favorite TV show?

The Office is my all-time favorite TV show.

What’s your favorite app?

I like Capital One. It’s just so well-designed and straightforward to make use of. With a background in finance, I can appreciate when a financial app is secure and designed to fulfill the shoppers’ needs.

Should you could have dinner with one big name [dead or alive], who wouldn’t it be?

I feel it might be fun to have dinner with Bad Bunny, who’s from Puerto Rico—my heritage, culture, and whose music I like!
